I have been using Lawn Doctor for 18 months and I am totally satisfied with this company. I needed Lawn Doctor to work with me as my lawn was replaced and then reseeded by my contractor, Bruno’s Landscaping (I do not recommend this landscaping company). With the attentiveness and expertise of Lawn Doctor my lawn is on its way to looking good. Lawn Doctor explained the new lawn needs, scheduled their visits around my contractor and taught me best practices for a healthy lawn. Walkways are always cleaned and the workers who service my lawn listen to my questions and contact the office if they need advice in answering my questions. Their costs are totally reasonable which is important because I am retired. I highly recommend this company to you! ~ Linda C

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Jacob and his team. We came to him with a brown patchy lawn, random weeds, and an ivy issue we just couldn’t control. After meeting with Jacob and coming up with a plan, we decided to go with a fertilizer program, treat the weeds, and then do the aeration and power seeding in the fall. Oh my goodness, what a difference a year made! My husband (who was hesitant about the need for a lawn care service) is in awe. Our family and friends have commented on what a change they’ve seen. Since then, we’ve stayed on a maintenance program with Jacob but have also called him with questions and utilized other services along the way. Jacob is always quick to respond and really takes the time to get to the “root” of the problem. We have a lush green lawn thanks to the Lawn Doctor. Thanks Jacob! ~ Denah P

It's still early in the year for lawn care, but I am very pleased with the service we have received from Lawn Doctor. They are very responsive to my concerns and questions. They have done a great job working with me to repair and treat my lawn from whatever (I think grubs) destroyed large sections of it last year. Normally I would do weed and feed myself, but after last year I decided to let the professionals handle my lawn. The lawn is getting much healthier and looking much, much better. They have been very knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and their treatments appear to work well. I feel like the cost of service is very competitive to other companies that I had spoken with. I admit I was excited about using lawn doctor for our lawn based on the reviews. I prepaid for a full year of fertilization as well as soil samples, sulphuric treatments and fungicide treatments. The lawn looked great in the spring but started to suffer from the prolonged hot summer dry period. The lawn developed multiple dead patches and fungus. I did have fungicide treatments done in the Spring, but these didn't fully stop the dead patches. Lawn Doctor promptly came to my house to inspect the condition of the lawn and said that the lawn needed an aeration and overseeding service to fix the dead patches. Given the investment I had already made in fungicide treatments, they are doing both services at no additional cost. I do appreciate them being responsive and making this right with me and I am not sure many other lawn service companies would necessarily do that. ~ John M

We bought our home last Spring and the yard had been neglected. We were over run with creeping clover 🍀- it was a mess. Thank goodness for Lawn Doctor. Jordan did soil samples and gave us a lasting repair plan that's healthy for the lawn and environment. Best decision EVER. We have curb appeal again!! I highly recommend the Lawn Doctor of North Ridgeville. After just one season of treatment my lawn is already showing a major improvement. When Jacob comes out, he will take the time to answer any questions I have. He is very knowledgeable, and you can tell he loves what he does. It only took Jordan a few minutes to determine what was needed and the prices he quoted me were very reasonable. When I have billing or any other questions Taylor can always answer them for me. I used to be the guy that always did his own fertilizing and aerations on his lawn. I was getting so-so results and decided to give the Lawn Doctor a try. I am now a two year member and I already sent in my full payment for 2021. They did a soil analysis so they know exactly what I need...I don't need to guess. It's not much more money than buying your own fertilizer at the big box stores and doing it yourself...great investment for my lawn. I'm in!!! Very professional, offered a seeding service, that I chose over sodding. Saved me $1500, and the area completely covered with grass. Started their lawn maintenance service last year, as my yard was over taken with weeds, even with service from other provider. Lawn is full with minimum weeds this spring. After cutting lawn for second time this spring, my wife said are yard looked like a park. Keep up the great service. Very personal and answer all of my questions! Highly recommend. ~ Scott F

Absolutely recommend this company. I shopped around for quite a while and when it comes to the services provided they absolutely offered the best bang for your buck. I've been using Lawn Doctor for two years, and Jacob and his team at Lawn Doctor have been great to work with. In addition to our lawn looking healthy and weed-free, their online portal is easy to use for payments and information. Also, they don't spam you with mailers, which I appreciate. Overall, we have been pleased with Lawn Doctor's (Rocky River) services (have used them for 3 or 4 seasons now). Just recently, Lawn Technician Seth took time out of his application to come over, see if I had any questions about the lawn, etc. We had a nice discussion about the grass/lawn and what he is observing. I called to have seasonal service done (aeration and over-seeding) and left a msg I was pleasantly surprised when Jordan (the owner) got bck to me within 15 mns! The Lawn Doctor crew headed by Jacob provided us with a beautiful lawn that is the envy of the neighborhood. After killing the old lawn they returned a few weeks later to power seed the new lawn. We now have a yard that we can enjoy for years to come. They have been both responsible and responsive and as a result we have contracted with Lawn Doctor to provide our lawn fertilization and insect control in 2022. ~ Kate O

Lawn Doctor did an excellent job restoring our lawn. It was in really bad shape with several different grasses trying to take over and it looked terrible. After the Lawn Doctor performed several steps and with the help of some sun and water, our lawn now looks close to a golf course. Our front yard looked pretty bad before Jordan went to work. Within six weeks, he had killed all the old grass and the new grass was coming in beautifully. It is now thick, lush, and verdant green.
